I haven’t had the opportunity to research the costs between a nuclear plant and other options, including solar panels and windmills but I do believe that we need sustainable hydro. The number of homes that depend on consistent power is too large to ignore. Also, the opportunity for jobs and economic growth is one we can’t pass up. I think we’re in dire need of well paying careers for our youth which will only boost our economic development. I believe that there are always opportunities to champion for assistance from the government for electricity rebates and subsidies, so I would add my support to any and all programs offered by the province.
